We are located on the busy central High Street in Southampton city centre; as such, parking can be challenge! You may be able to find a parking spot immediately in front of our building on the High Street, or on East Street around the corner. Please note, that parking on the High Street/East Street is free after 8:00PM.

Otherwise there is the Eastgate Street multi-storey car park, which is right behind our building, or St Michaels Street, which is a couple of blocks away from us.

Yes, and it offers a range of carefully selected premium spirits, crafted cocktails, and a curated list of organic, vegan-friendly wines.

People are welcome to dress as they see comfortable, be it tracksuit and leggings, or boujee attire.

For a normal booking we can accommodate parties of up to 10 people. For groups larger than 10 people, it becomes a situation of privately hiring our restaurant, with a minimum requirement of 16 guests.

For groups of 9 and above we can offer fixed price catering packages. We will need to take upfront deposits and pre-orders for starters, mains and snacks.

More information can be found on our ‘Private & Corporate Dining’ page.

At present, we are dine-in only; we do not offer takeaway or delivery.

Yes, we are wheelchair accessible. Please note, entering and exiting our building may be awkward due to the sharp corner turn when entering/leaving our venue. We are also equipped with accessible toilets for wheelchair users.

We do not have a children’s menu, however, we can offer guidance on which of our dishes may be suitable for a child’s palate. Usually this may be from our starters, side dishes, or extras.

Unfortunately, we cannot cater for Jain/sattvik diets, or for those who are intolerant to onion and garlic.

Please do get in touch with us, we’ll be happy to send out another confirmation. Sometimes, technical glitches do occur, and reservations don’t go through. If in doubt, do get in touch with us, and we’ll run things through on our end.

We take upfront deposits for parties of 9 and above. For bookings of up to 8 people, our reservation system, Sugarvine Tables uses a card-holding facility to secure tables, which deletes all details after reservations are fulfilled. It is highly regulated, audited and compliant with GDPR and Financial Conduct Authority regulations.

As an independent venue, our continued viability is dependent upon consistent fulfilled reservations. We are a very small venue of only 38 covers, so when a table is booked, that space is dedicated to you for 2 hours, and we have to turn others away who would love to dine with us. Unfortunately, when people fail to honour their booking, that table remains empty for the night, and this puts us at financial detriment. We truly hate enforcing penalties, however, unfulfilled bookings will be subject to a fee of £10 per head.

That being said, we also recognise that real life likes to get in the way of things, and we have to confront emergencies. If so, get in touch with us, we will review the situation case-by-case, and will endeavour to come to a solution that works for all of us.

Our full cancellation policy can be found in our ‘Book a Table’ page.

We are a very intimate venue of 38 covers.

Of course, but we request that any cake brought in is vegan.

We always recommend you reserve a table in advance for any special occasion or holiday. We are a small restaurant and it would be a massive shame if you were not able to get a table! Késarum is a top rated restaurant in Southampton and Hampshire and some people book with us weeks in advance!

We lead a relaxed style of service; informal, but correct and professional. Our cuisine is authentic, creative and seasonal.

Unfortunately, we do not have any high chairs, and we do not have a baby change facility.

Yes! We welcome well-behaved dogs, and service dogs.

Yes, we always have stuff on our menus that are gluten-free by design.
